The smog check process does not require the vehicle to be ran on the dyno for all vehicles year 2000 and newer. We simply connect our machine to your vehicle’s diagnostic port and the machine checks for certain onboard test to be complete. These tests are called “Readiness Monitors” and must be passed during regular driving in order for the vehicle to be ready for the smog test.
Once the smog check is complete we will automatically send the information to the DMV so it will be ready for you when you register your vehicle.
