Very accurate trouble shoot and complete vehicle inspection. David found my Prius V indeed had a inverter problem not the hybrid battery issue and they offered me a very competitive quote to fix it(too competitive that I don't even want to fix it by myself). These guys are true quote "Master of their Trade" especially on hybrid cars! On our third generation Prius diagnostic(cheaper than anybody elses where) was so comprehensive backed up by photos of every step, that you can clearly see any problem which the vehicle may have major or minor. The other mechanic we had didn't see leaks on the engine thatwas signs to the problem that we had. It needed a head gasket job and a water pump which was all backed up with photos of the full process done within in a week. I'm totally amazed with these guys and would give them 10 stars if I could.

I've been taking my 2012 Prius C and I couldn't be happier. The team is knowledgeable, respectful and friendly. Most importantly, they are honest. This might be my second review. I have been coming here for years. Oscar and David, the mechanics, explain things well and seem like they really want to get things done right. Also, honest. They have had numerous opportunities to tell me work needed to be done but will say something like "you are at 50% on your brake pads so they don't need to be replaced now." And this shop doesn't try to get money out of you for every single thing they do. The scheduler, along with the mechanics, is friendly and tries to accommodate special scheduling needs that I might have.

I visited Escondido Auto Pros to service AC on my 2006 PT Cruiser, and I must say they did a fantastic service in my car. They did a full diagnostics to check the condition as is, and then performed the needed repair. David was really very professional to give me a clear explanation on the issue and how it was fixed. They did a great job fixing my daughters hybrid so I decided to go there and have them check out a used car that I was going to buy. The lady at the front desk was awesome, while typing my information she repeated my phone, name spelling and address to make sure it was correct and I love that. I really like the way they send you electronically all the information and work done on the car. I had some questions and when I talked with Oscar he was very clear and patient, he answered all my questions, it was super great. I am so glad I found an auto mechanic that is honest.

I've gone here ever since I moved into the area and have been treated well every time. Called Escondido Auto Pros as another shop suggested replacing my hybrid battery. I was connected directly to David a mechanic, not an advisor. He explained in detail my options, including verification of problem testing. The options were very good in my experience, my Prius has 285,000 miles. I set an appointment for a few days later, and David the mechanic called to let me know someone canceled earlier. David thoroughly analyzed my car, I could see the detail he was taking and I asked the staff if he was the owner. David just works at the shop, I'm very impressed! Not sure how others are at this shop, but David correctly diagnosed my problem and it was not the battery. David provided me with excellent solution options, then when my part arrived performed the repair. David's expertise and business ethics saved me a tremendous amount of money! The staff was always pleasant and the restrooms are clean. The initial diagnosis fee of $95 was included in the repair cost as David did the repair. The estimate was the final price and the work was done on time. The business uses an easy for me to use web-based system to communicate and they confirmed my appointment via text and email. If your experience is like mine, you will feel good about the effort, expertise, communication, and results.

I brought my car in to replace the clutch. It took a week to complete. That seems like an awfully long time for a simple clutch replacement. The fact is they had to remove the entire engine and transmission to get to the clutch. Blame it on the design of the vehicle. IMO they did a good job in getting my vehicle fixed considering the complexity of the work. Since the engine was out, I requested additional checks to make sure there were no other issues. In their inspection they fedback that there was no other repairs required. Now that is an honest auto mechanic. Other auto shops would have jump on the opportunity to milk their customers but not Escondido Auto Pros. Kudos to them. I did shop around and found their charges reasonable. They also wanted me to bring the vehicle in after 200 miles for a free inspection. They get 5 stars for their performance. I highly recommend their service.

My son's a 20 year old Marine newly stationed in Camp Pendleton so he's not exactly rolling in money. He had a blown head gasket which unfortunately led to his engine needing replacement. It was for a 2006 Honda Civic. Considering the cost circumstances, Auto Pros found a very low milage engine was able to perform a reasonable priced swap. They called me every few days giving status updates and stayed within the originally priced quote range never sneaking in new cost here and there. The car is now has running like a champ and has added lifetime for usage. Definitely give them a call if you're in need of engine work. A great company to work with.

I took my Subaru Outback here to first get a complete check and then to get the engine replaced. Oscar was my technician and he did an amazing job. He gave me the space to ask as many questions as I needed which is not something I have experienced at other auto shops. Their inspection review sheet also greatly helped in my understanding of what work needed to be done to my car and why. Oscar called me throughout the time that they were working on my car to give me updates and I never felt cheated or in the dark. Also, my car stereo was not working when I took my car in but I never mentioned it, when they returned it, it worked again!! Huge surprise bonus! I will absolutely take my car here again and refer my friends in the area here.

I took my 2010 Prius in because my hybrid battery light came on. They installed a reconditioned battery and everything is working great now. They called me with updates and were very upfront with their pricing. I knew exactly how much everything would cost before they started any work. They emailed a digital report with images and pricing of recommended work to be done. I didn’t feel pressured to get any extra work done that I didn’t want to. All work was done in a timely manner. Overall, great experience.
